The CDC is now stating that the nasal spray called, Flu Mist, is a failure. At least when it comes to preventing the flu (which of course is the core functionality of the product). The Flu Mist nasal spray has been described as “poor or relatively lower effectiveness.”Now the parents of an 8-year old girl, Mackenzie Coyne, who passed away after receiving the Flu Mist vaccine earlier this year want answers. (according to Fox13 Salt Lake City)“Although we believed she was protected from the flu, indeed she was not,” said Mark Coyne of Park City.
