Donald Trump has done anything besides avoid the vaccine and autism issue. In fact, he’s attacked it head on several times, including as recent as last week. Trump has expressed his concerns as a suspicion over the volume of injections children are given these days and has compared it to the “old days” when there were fewer shots (and conveniently, less autism). Back in 2007, in an article published on the Sun-Sentinel, shortly after his wife Melania gave birth to their son, Baron, Trump publicly noted that he and Melania would be putting Baron on a delayed vaccination schedule mainly to avoid any risk of autism.
